3-stage whole house filter
Filtered water at every tap, if hardness isn't a problem for you.

Book a free water testCombined filtration and softening system installation solves two separate problems at once. The filters deal with chlorine taste and smell and catch sediment. The softener removes the hardness that leaves limescale on glass, tapware and inside appliances. Neither system can do the other's job.
As a water treatment supplier, we use our own licensed plumbers for every install, in suburbs from Ellenbrook and the Swan Valley to Landsdale and Joondalup. You get a free water test first, then a fixed written price, with no hard sell.
A filter won't stop limescale, and a softener won't remove chlorine. Most Perth homes on scheme water have a reason to want both. Water Corporation adds chlorine to all its supply sources, which is where the chlorine taste and smell come from. Water Corporation says hard water is most common where supply comes from groundwater. Perth's northern system is largely groundwater-fed.
Water Corporation's 2024-25 figures show how much hardness varies across our area. The Wanneroo supply zone averaged 125 mg/L and the Lexia zone, which supplies Ellenbrook and Aveley, 118 mg/L. The Greenmount zone, covering Midland, Guildford and Herne Hill, was the softest at 95 mg/L. All of these are within the national guidelines, so softening is about scale, not safety.
That's why we test first. If your reading is low and scale isn't a problem, we'll tell you the 3-stage filter alone may be enough, and save you the difference.
The twin 20-inch filter housings go first, then the automatic softener. Filtering first also protects the softener from sediment. Our plumbers fit the whole system in one visit, as close to your water meter as practical. Every tap, shower and appliance downstream is covered.
The automatic softener needs a 240 V power point near the meter and a drain connection. We check both at your free water test, before you get a price.
Water passes through the two filter housings first, which filter out sediment and deal with chlorine taste and smell.
The filtered water then flows through the softener, which removes calcium and magnesium and regenerates itself overnight.
Filtered, softened water reaches every tap, shower and appliance. All that's left for you is adding salt every few months and changing the filter cartridges when they're due.

The filter cartridges are standard size, so you're never locked into buying from us, and they need changing every 6 to 12 months in Perth. We'll remind you when a change is due, and our plumbers can handle water filter replacement and servicing for you. The softener has no cartridges to change.
It depends on what's bothering you. A whole house filter deals with chlorine, taste, odour and sediment. A water softener deals with hardness, which is what causes limescale on glass, taps and inside your hot water system. Most Perth homes on scheme water get the best result from both. We test your water first and tell you plainly which one you need.
It depends on your reading. Their scheme water is chlorinated, which a filter deals with. Hardness in their Lexia supply zone ranged from 76 to 160 mg/L in 2024-25, which is the widest swing in our area. That's a softener's job. Your free test shows where your home sits.
Maybe not. Midland and Guildford get water from the Greenmount supply zone, the softest in our area at an average of 95 mg/L in 2024-25. If your test shows little hardness and no scale, the 3-stage filter alone may be all you need. We'll tell you plainly either way.
